To tackle the large environmental challenges, such as climate change, we need to create a united movement. I went to the Climate Weekend because this is my view – to look away from organisational focuses, age, backgrounds, gender etc. and consider what unites us and what we can do for each other. The Climate Weekend fulfilled my wishes. When leaving the event I had increased my knowledge of many environmental topics, gotten contact info of those interested in taking part in my own project and met many new friend and fellow activist. And of course there’s beer.
